Ready to talk with Taliban to end conflict: Afghan resistance leader

Ahmad Massoud, head of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRFA) that's fighting the Taliban in Panjshir province, said that he welcomed proposals from religious scholars for a negotiated settlement to end the fighting. NRFA agreed to the move in principle to "reach a lasting peace", Massoud added. Notably, this comes after Taliban forces claimed they had entered Panjshir's capital.
