Two-time Olympic medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar and his associate have been sent to six-day police custody in connection with the murder of 23-year-old wrestler Sagar Rana at a Delhi stadium. Sushil was evading arrest since an FIR was registered against him in the case, however, he was arrested on Sunday from West Delhi.
Severe punishment should be given to Sushil: Father of murdered wrestler
The father of 23-year-old wrestler Sagar Rana, who was murdered at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi, has said that there's "strong evidence" against two-time Olympic medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar regarding his involvement in the case. "Severe punishment should be given to [Sushil]. I have full faith in law," he added. Sushil has been arrested after being on the run.
