All India Football Federation (AIFF) appointed Sweden's Thomas Dennerby as the new head coach of the Indian women's senior national team on Friday. The 62-year-old, who was earlier in charge of the Indian under-17 women's World Cup squad, has been appointed to help the team prepare for AFC Asian Cup which will begin on January 20 next year in India.
